How Would I Make A Large Bird Play Gym?
Can anyone know how to make a very large (width and height) play gym for two cockatiels and two parakeets?
Can you please tell me how to add/ do these things?
- I would like a very large one (width and height)
- Make/attach toys to the gym
- Attach food/water cups
- Perches (alll kinds)
- Coloring (how would I do this?)
- sturdy
my father and i just made a VERY big play gym for our 5 cockatiels, it measured 80 cm by 75. it was 60 cm high (2 levels), and had alot of different sections to make it more interesin etc.
making toys is really fun hair curles are non toxic, using non toxic wood and non toxic wood glue are always a good start, paint can vary but it is best to stay away from, to make it coulourful add bright toys and bright food/water cups. or u can just buy sometoys from your pet store.
the best way to add food and water dishes is to either glue them or make a little slot for them to do this you will need to glue 4 edes about 3 cm high in a square shape or water shpae your food/ water dish is this stops the bird from tipping them over and making a mess another easy way is to glue them.
the best way to place perches is to glue them with non toxic glue and also nail them this gives it double the strength, if you but the perches you may have to wire them MAKE SURE that no sharp edges are protruding incase your bird huurts it self.
colouring as i mentioned above is best stayed away from, as certain colours have different chemicals making them toxic so stay way from them.
to make it sturdy even out the weight of the levels and use circular wooden poles 2 cm in diameter.
hope this helps!!

No money was exchanged in the gym, but several Hornets players acknowledged this past week that high-stakes shooting games at practices and card games on and more »
