Although the Christmas season has come and gone, there are some who carry on the spirit of giving year round. These are people who have discovered that there is joy found in giving to others, and whether it’s giving an object, giving time, giving an ear, giving a smile, a hand shake or a greeting, great or small, these gifts are greatly appreciated by those receiving. Sonora resident Dick Williams gives all of the above, all of the time…especially at the Avalon Care Center in Sonora. For the past six years he has faithfully visited the center, shinning his warm personality into the rooms and up and down the hallways of the center while bearing daily gifts for the residents. He is also known for feeding the caged birds in the solarium as well as the birds who visit the feeders scattered around the grounds. In fact, his love for taking care of the birds has earned him the nickname at the center as “The Birdman,” which I quickly discovered when I took a recent trip to the center.Bird Cages? - Michigan Reefers

Registration is fast, simple and absolutely free so please, join our community today ! cocketeils are awesome!!! my aunt had one but they will need a decent size cage. i have finches which i am in love with. they fly around in there cage and the male sings such a beautiful song to the female while she leaves him to get food. there not good for handling though. parakeets are hard to get to be tame unless you get them as a baby or from someone who has already tamed it. please!!!!!!! dont buy a small 1'x1'x1' cage it so mean. for my finches i actually got a parrot cage but its got good length. its a 25"x21"x30". for a parakeet i would say a 18x18x18 would be the minimum maybe a a 15" depth would be fine. be prepared for the occasional loud chirps. good luck but id say craigslist, petco,petsmart,then local shop because most of the time there the highest but idk where you go.
