are there any cat/dog/pet proof christmas tree stands out there?
we want a real tree this year and we need a tree stand where the cats cant get to the water. please help!

TOM HUDSON: Let's take look at the overall market focus this evening. The market certainly was mostly defensive today even with a little bit of green. Utility stocks finding some buyers. Technology stocks generally in the red. Caterpillar (CAT) though really helped lift the Dow into the green, in fact jumping more than 5 percent hitting a new 52-week high and on heavy, heavy volume. Cat traded more than three times its average daily volume on today's move. Take a look at a one-year target for Caterpillar, catching a bit today after China reporting a record 2009 for exports and that's fueling hopes that Cat could see some of that Chinese export money cycled back into Chinese demand for all of its construction and ag equipment. Speaking of ag real quick, as Susie mentioned, the cold weather here finally loosening some of the grip on parts of the United States but orange juice prices finally falling back from new highs. We highlighted this trend in fact last week as temperatures dropped into the 40s, even 30s, even 20s in some places in Florida's orange growing regions. Prices did jump to over one-year highs on the cold weather last week. Today, however tumbling more than 12 percent, down around $1.31.

Dante is having fun polishing up his competitive obedience routines, goofing around with agility sequences, learning to be a stellar Therapy Dog, romping with his play-buddies at the local trails and soliciting cuddles and kisses from unsuspecting humans. He lives for the next exotic raw food item that Mom gleefully introduces to mealtimes. Yum. Atia is a 10 months old black and tan Doberman Pinscher puppy -- a sweet, sweet girl and all-round sassy diva! She merrily pounces on her much, much bigger older brother Dante in cheeky play and wants everything and anything he wants. When not showing off her newest puppy antics to big brother Dante, Atia tries her best to convince the kitty coalition that she's one of them too!
The Husband FINALLY attended sulkily to the task of taking down the Christmas Tree tonight. The poor, stinky, balding tree. I have no doubt that he would be happy to leave it as it is, tinsel-laden and weighed down with a gazillion ornaments and all, until March of April so that he doesn't get the "post-Christmas Blues" (as he calls it) bad; but since tree collection day by the city is tomorrow and i told him that he'll have to drag the tree somewhere else to be disposed of BY HIMSELF IN HIS LITTLE CAR if he misses collection day, he's grudgingly taking it all down now.
