Kitty collars-one of them hates her collar and has licked the fur off?
She scratches at it and licks so much she has bald patches around the front of her neck. Will she get used to it? It's been about a month.
It has her name and our phone number on it so if she gets outside she has ID. She's an indoor kitty and it's a break-away collar. It's not too tight either, nor too loose so she doesn't choke on it. Anyone had this problem?
It's funny, she's the "tough guy" and the prissy one doesn't mind hers! :-)
Thanks!
out of all my cats, we have one who just hates his collar. we tried a few different ones. He ends up shredding it with his claws, and pulling so hard his bottom jaw gets stuck in it.
My solution was to microchip him, and keep him indoors. Maybe in time he would have gotten used to it, but I didn't like to find his jaw stuck on it.
Good Luck!
