My dog hurts its snout trying hard to escape crate when i am at work. Ideas on how to safely keep dog crated?
My new dog (4 years old medium sized) will break out of the crate by unhooking the metal latch. It is a very smart dog. When it does get out, it will destroy the house. Does anyone know what I can do to keep it in the crate without it hurting itself to get out. Is there a better crate out there that will fit the description i am dealing with?
Plastic airline crate, drive two holes, one on top and one on the bottom of the door, right on the plastic and stick a rod through it. The rod stays in front of the door and prevents it from opening. Alternatively, you could get an aluminum crate, they are malinois proof and nothing will escape one..
