Ok, here is my situation, every dog play pen I look at anywhere it says each panel to the play pen is like 24 inches. And there are like 6 panels! I do not get it! I can go for a play pen that is like "50" inches by "50" inches and any height. I need help measuring and finding a good store. Thanks!
Exercise pens are meant to be easily taken down and stored -- that's why they have so many panels..heck, there are 6, 8 and even 12 panel models! Some are lightweight, and some are decidedly not.
The tallest ex-pens I've ever seen are 48". There are lots of manufacturers -- Precision, MidWest, KennelAire, etc. They all make wire/metal pens.
If you want a pen for indoors that will not scrape floors, http://www.roverpet.com makes lovely pens from PVC. They also are not easy for dogs to climb out of (while many of the metal ones are). You might like these a bit better if you purchase the straight stabilizers ($3.50 each, found on page 2 of accessories) and put them on adjoining panels -- that way each panel is 48" wide....close to the 50" x 50" you wanted, as this would be 48" x 48" http://www.roverpet.com/enclosures.htm
These are not inexpensive pens, but they are very nice and hold up pretty well.

Molly the wander dog

The heartbreaking decision of putting a sick or hurt family pet down is always a gamble if there is hope that the pet will recover. A New Bern woman gambled and continues to enjoy the companionship of Molly.
The gamble was not cheap and it has not been easy.
Molly, a longhair black dachshund, lives in the Brices Creek area of Craven County with her humans Kathy and Johnny Mattox.
Kathy Mattox said Molly has been with the family since she was 6 weeks old. Now 6 years old, Mattox had a scare when she noticed that Molly was having trouble walking and would not make it down the stairs in their two-story house. That was in October.
The next day Molly was in Cary at the Veterinary Specialist Hospital.
She got a CT scan and doctor told Mattox it looked bad.
She had a ruptured disc in her back and her brain was not communicating with her hind legs. Doctor’s could not guarantee that Molly would walk again even with surgery.
Without hesitating, Mattox agreed to the surgery and Molly was rolled into surgery.

A little tug of war with Biggie with one of his toys is a great way to wear him out to help him sleep through the night without waking Hugo or me up.
According to them my house is just full of fun stuff like the dog pen in the garage. First you run out the dog door in the house and through the dog door in the garage, bark and the start all over. Super cool! :)
