Which treat is better for dogs: natural raw-hide bones or pressed rawhide bones?
My dogs love the natural rawhide bones....
That depends on the dog. Pressed rawhide bones are generally tougher and stand up better to strong chewers. My dogs only get the pressed ones because they tend to tear large chunks off of the regular ones that they will try to swallow whole (which then causes choking and vomiting...thankfully none have ever gotten far enough through to cause intestinal blockage).
All dogs should be supervised with ANY kind of toy and chew toys especially (at least at first). It's up to the owner to watch their dogs closely to see what kind of toys are safe for their dogs and which ones their dogs turn into potential hazards. No single toy or chew is safe for all dogs. They all have their potential hazards depending on how they are used by the individual dog.
