JOIN THE DOGGIE FASHION SHOW: Creature Comforts of Racine County has Doggie Fashion Shows three to four times a year. Shows are held at various local nursing homes. Dogs must be friendly and have three to four outfits (fashion types preferred over Halloween costumes). Shows are held Sunday afternoons.
RACINE YOUTHFUL OFFENDER CORRECTIONAL FACILITY: Volunteers are needed to facilitate discussion and learning activities related to the curriculum. The curriculum covers wellness, education, employment, family support, financial literacy, health, housing, personal development and transportation. Volunteers will work at 1501 Albert St. Days and times to volunteer are flexible during the week, there may be some evening opportunities available. A background check is necessary.
HOPES CENTER NEEDS RECEPTIONIST: Hopes Center, 506 Seventh St., needs an individual to answer phones, direct calls, greet clients and schedule healing arts appointments. There is access to a computer. Three-hour shifts between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Facility is handicapped accessible.
