GET RIDE OF THE TOP FROM THE AQURIAM AND U CAN GO TO A PET STORE OR A HARDWARE STORE AND GET THE MEASUREMENTS AND THEY WILL GIVE OR MAKE U A SCREEN TOP < it usually comes wit a lock but u dont need one :p
PUT SOME BEDDING IN ABOUT 1INC HAND A HALF OR MABEY 2 INCHES < w/e bedding the snake comes wit u can buy a bag or pick one that sounds good 2 u
ADD A MEDUIM SIZED WATER DISH < big enough for it to soak in so its shedding cycle can go smoothly and so it can get a nice drink of water
ADD SOME FAKE PLANTS AND A WOODEN LOG AND BRANCHES OR A VINE < fake plants i have a meduim sized one that has a sucion cup and i put it in a corner and it goes into the water most of it is one the bedding that and a wodden log is good for hiding or relaxin branches or a vine is good for it to climb on and be interactide wit things i have a vine thiny its really long but in the center is metal and u can twist it and bend it any way u like ill be getting some more to replace all the other stuff so i can give u the names of the bedding, and supplies i find that my snake likes the bedding i bought better then my friends lol
LAMP OR HEAT PAD < u can get a lamp to clamp to the side of the tank and it will shine threw the screen and give off heat or u could use a heat pad and they usually go under the tank and it give off heat and it will come up threw the bedding :p
Oh, thats very easy. Take all the water out, of course. Wash and rinse it with a hand soap (its gentle). If you’re getting a Ball Python, I’m not sure too much about them, but lay down the appropriate substrate. A basking area for them to get warm, and a cooler side to cool down. (I hope I’m right about that) But really, you just need to take the water out, and put in everything necessary for your snake.
Simple, you must make sure you still have the mesh lid and you will need to clamp it on tight or you will regret it. you must have the proper bedding and some elivation (but no more than 6 inches from the bottom0 you need a heating lamp and a cool area a little dish of water easy to find at petsmart. just do some research on what is to make a completely nessasary tank for a snake.
