How much Exo Terra Dragon Food Juvenile do you feed a Bearded Dragon each day?
Im looking into getting a Bearded Dragon later this year and Im just trying to work out the costs of keeping him healthy ect, Im looking to be feeding him (as well as fresh greens and crickets) Exo Terra Dragon Food Juvenile. Could somebody please tell me how much of this you are ment to feed a baby or adult dragon each day? (in grams if possible)
I have an adult beardie and I myself have tried the Exo Terra Dragon Food. My dragon did not want anything to do with it. He wouldn't even give it a second look. If you're going to be feeding it greens and crickets, I would skip the Exo Terra stuff, in my opinion. They will do just fine without using it. I would focus on getting him eating the greens, crickets, small mealworms, phoenix worms, etc. Also, do not forget that you will need supplements for the crickets/worms. You need to dust them to keep your beardie healthy. Rep-Cal calcium with D3 and Rep-Cal Herptivite are what I use and I just take about a teaspoon of both and mix them together and every feeding I dust the crickets with it.
Anyway, Sorry if I got off your question. But to answer that again, I'd forget the Exo Terra food. It's not needed with proper greens and crickets.
Please join this site if you plan on getting a beardie. This forum has many wonderful people that are willing to answer all questions you may have. Care sheets are also found on here. I find it quite wonderful as I have asked many questions and use it frequently. Of course, it's free.
